We believe in praying for each other. All Christians are called to "carry one another's burdens," (Gal. 6:2) "to be instant in season and out of season," (2 Tim. 4:2) and to "pray for each other so that you may be healed," because "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (Jas 5:16)
We believe in praying for our city, nation, and world. "Pray to the LORD for the city you are living in, because if there is peace in that city, you will have peace also.” (Jer. 29:7) "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chron. 7:14) "I urge that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved." (1 Tim. 2:1–4)
We ask boldly that you take another step in faith and become a prayer partner. If you believe in the power of prayer, and if you believe that God answers prayers, then please join with us by joining our email prayer list, and by being active prayer partners in the requests that come into our site - it is a portal between earth and heaven through which the Father hears our prayers through our great intercessor, Jesus our HIgh Priest. We believe God answers our prayers as we ask and believe in faith through that promise made to us by Jesus: "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. " (Jn 14:14)
We are not Cessationists. While we vehemently reject a magical view of a God who grants petitions of worldly wealth and power, we firmly believe in the fact that the God of the Bible still acts in all the miraculous ways he always has done. He continues his work of redemption unto the creation of the new heavens and the new earth. We have seen miraculous healings, seen mountains of doubt cast away, seen lives made new as dead souls are resurrected to new life, seen marriages restored, and more - all this, in this present age, through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. We remain steadfast in trusting the Lord: "According to your faith let it be done to you." (Matt. 9:29)
